Foundation
SCVdata was established in 2000 with a focus on enterprise technology operations — the unglamorous, load-bearing work of designing, deploying, and sustaining the systems that organizations depend on.
Over two and a half decades, that work has spanned server architecture, structured cabling, network infrastructure, custom software development, and systems integration across industries including manufacturing, distribution, food service, and construction materials.
The discipline is consistent: infrastructure that is designed to last, documented so others can maintain it, and operated with accountability to the business outcome rather than the technology itself.
Engagements
SCVdata takes on a limited number of engagements to maintain operational depth with each client. Work is scoped carefully, documented thoroughly, and delivered with accountability to the business outcome.
Server architecture, structured cabling, and network infrastructure for enterprise and mid-market environments. Design, deployment, and ongoing operations.
Custom software development and API integration connecting operational systems to distribution, inventory, and business management platforms, including retail supply chain operations.
Food procurement platforms supporting institutional purchasing operations across California school districts, and custom ordering systems with distributor API integration for food service operators.
Field-deployed agricultural technology. Evaluation, deployment, and operational accountability for precision agriculture systems in working farm environments. Conducted through MorganicSystems.
Selected Work
Operational software built for real environments, reconstructed as interactive systems with sample data.
Leadership
Morgan founded SCVdata in 2000 and has led enterprise technology operations continuously since. Over that time, he has overseen internal engineering staff supporting multi-site organizations operating under structured service-level agreements with 24×7 production accountability. The work spans infrastructure architecture, systems integration, custom software development, and the operational disciplines that keep complex environments functional over time.
A background in biology, ecology, and plant physiology informs an approach to systems thinking that is grounded in how real environments behave, not how they were designed to behave.
Morgan also serves as adjunct faculty teaching Agricultural Field Studies at The Master's University in Southern California.
Applied Operational Context
The same infrastructure disciplines applied in enterprise and distribution environments also extend into field-deployed operations. Adjacent agricultural technology work — including evaluation, deployment, and operational accountability for precision agriculture systems — is conducted through MorganicSystems.
